As the cofounder and CEO of Nineteenth Amendment, fashion tech is Amanda Curtis’ world. Amanda has a degree in Advertising from Boston University and a degree in Fashion Design from Parsons School of Design with experience in both industries. She has worked as a fashion designer for design houses such as DVF and Richie Rich, watched her work go down the runway at Lincoln Center, and dressed celebrities. She head designed, and managed a line that made it to the finals of London Fashion week in its first season. She is passionate about creating industry and innovation in the fashion world through technology. She has acted in marketing and business development roles at multiple tech startups focused in the retail space. Being a part of the inaugural class of Startup Institute Boston (SIB) gave her the confidence, knowledge, and support to start the greatest revolution in the movement to democratize fashion. Amanda was awarded Forbes 30under30 in Retail and ECommerce in 2016
